Just Go...

If you're ever given the opportunity to travel beyond the borders of the United States, please go. Don't even hesitate. I've been blessed and my parents have been blessed enough to send me to a foreign country. I haven't been many places in the world, but I've been to Paris (the one in France).

It's really true what people say about Paris. Believe the hype! Everything really is just so different over there. Paris is perhaps one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It's well known as "The City of Love" because many lonely souls find their soulmates there, but Paris could very well be my soulmate. I fell in love there and I'll be honest. I did not want to leave. I would get on a plane in a second just to see the Eiffel tower light up at night again.

I was actually a little ashamed to call myself an American. The biggest difference between the United States and really any other country is that other countries actually have a unique culture. Every country is proud of the unique culture that is native to their own country. Be honest. Who wants to tell the world "I'm from the country that's known for being fat and stupid." I know I don't.

I have every intention of going to London, Tokyo, Capetown, Geneva, Machu Picchu, Instanbul, Dubai, Johannesburg, Beijing, Sydney, Berlin and anywhere else God allows me to go. I most definitely have every intention of going back to Paris. However, I'm not so sure if I go back to Paris that I'll ever come back. Real talk.
