I just realized today was the first day of October. Quite honestly, I'm one of those people who never knows what time it is or what day it is for that matter. Lol.
To date, Autumn is my favorite season of the year. One of the things I absolutely loved about Autumn and October in particular, was when the leaves started to change color. I would always stare at the tree outside my window. Unfortunately, due to global warming, the weather has been all wacky and leaves haven't started changing color yet. Believe me when I say I won't let random weather spoil my mood.
Another thing I loved was watching the holiday themed commercials and television specials on television. During the Autumn, ABC became my favorite network to watch because they would always air those classic Peanut specials like It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! Every year I watch them and it never gets old. What about Halloween? I've never been trick or treating. My mother was never really comfortable with her children ringing people's doorbells when she didn't know them well or asking them for candy she didn't buy. Thanksgiving has always been pleasant. Especially when I get to spend time with cousins who cut in line to get food. Lol.
I'm just glad September is over. I wonder what October has in store for me and this blog. Guess we'll find out! Hope you all have a happy October!
